Youth Taking Charge
Empowering Teens in Maricopa County

Youth Taking Charge
Youth Taking Charge (YTC) is a dynamic group for young people aged 12-17 who want to make a difference in their community. We focus on creating positive change through:
-
Peer-to-Peer Discussions: Talking openly about important issues like understanding the risks of substance misuse and promoting supportive, trauma-informed environments.
-
Community Action: Using surveys and forums to hear directly from our peers about their needs and helping them advocate for themselves and others.
-
Positive Activities: Hosting fun events, like movie nights , to build connections and raise awareness about mental health and alternative resources available for teens.
